If you are travelling and trying to save on your travels and don’t have time to book an early flight, then you might want to consider last minute travel chances that can oftentimes save you some huge discounts. For those who have retired or have flexibility in their time, then booking a cruise can be a good way to save on your travels. Hotels do want to fill up their empty rooms because they lose money when they do so.

If you are a last minute shopper, then you might want to call the airline to ask if they have any last minute deals or seats to fill up. You can also call the hotel to find out if they too have empty rooms to fill up. You will be surprised to find out that they do and are anxious to book you even if it is at the last minute, so that they can make money during their off peak season. Read more »

How to be comfortable when traveling

If you travel often, you do know how uncomfortable it is to travel. You have to deal with check-ins, checkpoints, boarding, flying, landing, and baggage claim and then wait for someone to pick you up. If you are like me, I love to travel, but hate the hassle. The part that I don’t like most is waiting for that dreaded landing. You also have to contend with the person who is sitting beside you if you are traveling alone.

Some air planes don’t have enough leg room, no complimentary food and so many annoying things too many to mention here. I have children, but the worst thing for me is when I am tired and traveling to hear a baby screaming for the entire flight.
